I hope you all had a good break over the festive season. The news for 2010 is that we are working hard on obtaining our full broadcasting license from the BAI. 2010 should be an exciting and challenging year for Athlone Community Radio with new schedules, training, fundraising events, new programmes ideas, programme production and lots more besides.
We will be holding a volunteer night soon (when the weather allows) for all of our existing volunteers to plan for the year ahead and I would encourage all to attend. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer should pop in to the station for an application form or e-mail info@athlonecommunityradio.ie..
In the meantime I would like to wish every one a happy New Year.
