This programme catalogues the background to some of the development of Athlone over the past few years and have a slight historical/living history element to it. It also provides for guests to give their observations and views to the changes in the community and their involvement if any in those changes.
John is resident in Athlone some 12 years now, like so many, came here to pursue education in AIT and hasnâ€™t really left since. John, originally from Laois is a journalist with Travellersâ€™ Voice magazine and also works in the area of publishing with an indie book company. He also works in the area of mental health and education. In his free time, John likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.
