I have been presenting shows with Athlone Community Radio since 2011 after becoming involved with the Studentcast show over in AIT for a couple of years. Currently presenting a “Accelerate” on Thursdays from 5-6pm and the amazing award winning community programme “The St Hildas Show” on Fridays from 10-11am.

I am working for St. Hilda’s services since July 2006. I was approached by Daniel Coulter in November 2016 and asked to join him in supporting a group from St. Hilda’s services in producing their own radio show. I was delighted to get involved. My role is to support people to research the information for their sections. We use the internet and papers to research the weather, the community diary and quote of the week. I rehearse their pieces with them so that they feel confident in talking about them. I support people by making phone calls on their behalf to people they would like to have in for interview and I also support people to use our email to keep in touch with other centres and other service users that might like to interview or advertise programmes.
