. Athlone Film Club returns to the Dean Crowe Theatre next Tuesday evening, January 16th with the award winning Tunisian film Harka. Doors open at 7.30pm and the film commences at 8pm.
. Athlone and Castlerea Credit Union are inviting primary schools in the Athlone and Castlerea areas to join the Credit Union Schools Quiz 2024. To participate, contact the Credit Union to register for the local knockout stage happening at TUS, Athlone Campus on January 28th. Athlone Little Theatre is delighted to present, for three nights only, January 12th, 13th and 14th: a comedy from Hubcap Theatre entitled ‘The Parish’, a heart-warming play with a range of colorful characters exploring the meaning of community and friendship. . Roscommon Drug & Alcohol services have set up a SMART Recovery meeting; it takes place at Vita House Outreach Centre in Monksland on Wednesdays at 1pm. Smart Recovery is a leading evidence based addiction recovery programme focusing on managing behaviors. The service is completely free and the addiction may be to anything. The focus will not be on the addiction but on your behaviors towards it.
. MABS the money advice and budgeting service is a free and confidential service for people who are experiencing money management and debt.
