Athlone Community Radio and South Westmeath Hospice Presents Radio Rivals!

Athlone Community Radio in conjunction with South Westmeath Hospice will host Radio Rivals, a table quiz with a difference in Athlone on November 14^th 2013.

For the first time ever questions will be broadcast live on air on 88.4fm and six Athlone venues will host the teams. The six venues playing host to the event are Athlone Springs, Shine’s Bar, The Sheraton Hotel, Athlone Institute of Technology, The Dog & Duck, Ballykeeran and The Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Teams cost €20 with a maximum of 4 people per team.
There will be a prize for the winning team in each venue with an overall top prize of €400.

South Westmeath Hospice was formed in l994.  In addition to its palliative care unit in Athlone, Community based care is provided for patients in Athlone, Moate, Glasson, Castledaly, Tang, Ballymore, Ballinahown, Mount Temple, Monksland, South Roscommon and the surrounding areas.

Athlone Community Radio 88.4fm is a non profit community project, broadcasting to Athlone and surrounding areas, we give a voice to the minority, all community and voluntary organisations and cover all local issues pertaining to Athlone.  We provide training and work experience to our volunteers, transition year students, and those participating in further education.
