. Drama Dabbles workshops take place in Athlone Little Theatre on Friday January 13th & Friday January 20th at 7.30pm each evening. If you fancy trying your hand at acting come along and join drama facilitator Helene Lepaon for script readings, games and fun. All are welcome to attend from beginners to more experienced actors.

. SHINE: is a mental health Charity which operates nationally supporting both individuals who experience mental health difficulties and their families. Shine is hosting an 8 week peer-led recovery support programme entitled ‘Finding my Way’. The course will commence in Athlone Library on Tuesday 31st January from 2pm – 4pm, and will run weekly on Tuesdays. The course is free and open for anyone who experiences mental health difficulties and wants to learn some skills and increase their knowledge to better support themselves. The Samaritans are available on free call 116123, 24 hours a day to provide emotional support for anyone who wishes to speak to someone in confidence.
