National Community Radio Day Friday June 22nd

Athlone Community Radio 88.4fm invites you to join us around Athlone tomorrow, June 22nd, as we broadcast from different locations to celebrate National Community Radio Day with all the members of CRAOL throughout the Country.
Join us on 88.4fm where we will start the day live from our studio at 8am with Pete Casey’s Brekkie Fix, Alona Rock will keep you entertained from 10 – 11am and then we will broadcast live from the Radisson Hotel until 1pm with very special guests. Then we head back to our Studios in Ball Alley Lane with our very own Benny Cooney until 2pm before we head to Athlone’s Civic Centre with Ursula Ledwith and guests until 4pm.
Seamus McKenna will be live from studio until 6pm, playing lots of oldies and will be joined by guests and Ed Coyle to review the local papers at 5.30pm. Derek O’Meara and Robbie Mulvey will bring you a mixture of sport and music from 6pm to 8pm and then the man that knows everything Eurovision, Padraig Muldoon and his guests will entertain until 10pm.
Then to round the day off David Smyth and Mel Rea Finneran will bring you a mix of Irish and American Country music with lots of live studio guests to ensure a fun end to our day of broadcasting. Don’t forget to pop along and say hello, remember we are YOUR Community Radio.
