Since the start of the pandemic Athlone Community Radio has been to the fore ensuring up to date factual information every day for their listeners and followers. However their income streams have dried up and not an organisation to sit around, they have came up with a novel fundraising idea that will not only offer entertainment but also an opportunity for people to donate to keep their not for profit radio station open. Their bills are still coming in so let’s all get behind this and give what you can to ensure after Covid-19 we still have a community radio that is the Voice of Athlone.
